You know what i do not get?
When you first found out about EvE-online it must have occurred to you that there is simply no 100% safe-spot within EvE.
I can not get into my head that there are people missing that particular message n each and every advertisement.
Everything you can read about EvE or find on youtube, anything, will show you that your stuff can be blown up.
That said, one could make an argument that hulkageddon kind of falls under grieffing, yet its also not a problem at all to argue it adds to the sanbox game and immersion to the backstory and gameplay of EvE.
It must have gotten through to you that it is the players within a sandbox that will create the content (not talking tooling
here but the actual gameplay).
Than an other issue.
There is this event called Grieffergeddon and myself recently setup the hillbillageddon event and you know what....
Grieffergeddon has a few participants, hillbillageddon still none. (The latter partly due to me posting on alt and its the first introduction of this particular event)
But i can safely say:
The parties that "should" be interested seem to be in stasis or something or actually did miss the message when signing up that one
could loose his/her stuff, even in hi-sec.
And believe me, i have tried to reach you guys, if not choosing to participate in the event than trying to show you how you could also have fun with this hulkageddon event.
Ive flown around for 2 weeks 130 jumps a day to get people interested......
seriously....
There is even an thread 20 pages thick about it.
I have nothing against miners, nor pro anything.
Its a sandbox, and everyone should just play this game in whatever way they want to......make their own rules etc.
But you cant ignore the fact you are playing in a sandbox where you can loose stuff everywhere....its not kept a
secret by any means.
Maybe this game just isn't for you?
If it is, i would advise you to accept your stuff is at risk or .....create your own game within EvE to have a laugh with hulkageddon participants or do something entirely different.
You cant have missed the fact that actions from players effect the "lives" of all other players, its the very nature within this sandbox.
